Mumbai: It seems as if
Ranbir Kapoor’s mom Neetu Singh was asked to pick her ‘bahu’ amongst Deepika
Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra, she would go with the last
choice. Latest report has it that Ranbir’s mother has taken a fancy to
the former Miss World as she specifically invited her to a very private,
closed-door party for her son at their Pali Hill residence.
Leave aside Ranbir’s former
girlfriend Deepika, it should be noted that Ranbir’s close friend and co-star
Katrina Kaif was also not present at the party.
According to eyewitnesses,
the ladies - Priyanka and Neetu gelled very well at the party and Neetu
lavishly praised her. They bonded over dinner and the latter praised Neetu’s
culinary skills. The food that Neetu cooked was typical Punjabi fare and
everybody was seen enjoying the tandoori chicken that Neetu had cooked.
“Ranbir’s mom had her
eye on every detail. The food was Punjabi and yummy, especially the chicken
tandoori that she had made. Ranbir’s dad Rishi Kapoor couldn’t attend the
party because he generally goes to sleep early but Neetu aunty was there
all through to take care of all of us,” said one of the invitees to a news
daily.
